Stayed 4 nights in early May, at the start of the 2026 season. Hotel built with traditional cave style rooms, so stairs to rooms are very steep. Hotel located in Imerovigli, a small town between Fira & Oia on the rim of the caldera. We walked unto Fira in 20 mins but took a taxi into Oia (first thing in the morning before tourists from the cruise liners arrived). Imerovigili is an ideal location, has a few shops, a pharmacy & a number of restaurants. Breakfast is served on your own balcony (you order and book a time the day before) always arrived on time and a great experience eating breakfast with fabulous views. Finally the staff are first class, nothing too much trouble, with a special shout out to Mateo in the bar. We had a fantastic holiday, would recommend going early or late season, in high season the number of cruise ship visitors must be an issue.

Exceptional 180° view of the caldera and magical sunsets every evening, directly from the hotel. Located halfway between Fira and Oia, the location is ideal for visiting Santorini while enjoying the tranquility. The rooms are comfortable, impeccably clean, and well-equipped. The breakfast served in the room is varied and of high quality. Special mention to the entire team: cheerful, attentive, and always good at giving advice. A true feeling of being welcomed as privileged guests. After our days of exploration (Oia, Fira, Pyrgos, wine tasting, catamaran, Skaros Rock, and the Prophet Elijah Monastery), we loved returning to enjoy Matteo's excellent cocktails at the I.S Bar and admire the sunset from the terrace or the pool. As regular and demanding travelers, we believe that this hotel offers excellent value for money. We recommend it without hesitation and will return with great pleasure. Chose to stay here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and we had the perfect week, thank you. Staff were so welcoming, professional, attentive and humorous. We stayed in room 3 which was perfect for us. The uninterrupted, stunning views from our balcony and pool area made our holiday. Breakfast on our balcony every morning was lovely. There’s several sun beds, where you could relax in peace after your activities. It was heaven. Pool service was 10/10. Poolside cocktails & food were lovely. Ate out every night at the lovely restaurants in Imerovigli. Plenty to choose from. Spent €150-190 in meals per night- 2 people drinking couple of glasses of wine & beer and usually a main course and then share a desert. Santorini is generally expensive which we already knew before we went so the prices never phased us. Location of the hotel was perfect for us. We walked the scenic route to Fira . Took approx 20 mins & found lovely restaurants and bars in the way. Fira was lovely but Imerovigli was the best of both worlds. Definitely recommend this hotel and location. Note that the hotel has lots of steps which is not suitable for people with mobility issues. Thank you for a memorable stay.
