We loved staying in Perissa, and the one good thing about Maria's Mill is its proximity to the beach and bus stop! The apartment itself was cramped, and whilst it wasn't filthy, it wasn't clean either. A cleaner came in every day and emptied the bins, refolded dirty sheets and towels, and left a half used roll of toilet roll. This happened every morning that we stayed there! The most aggravating thing about the place however was that there was a total lack of communication when we got there! We were taken to a room which listed all of the facilities available on the wardrobe door, including breakfast for a surplus of 5€ per person. We were then left to our own devices, no one told us how and when to check out, how to request amenities such as a hairdryer, or how to get said breakfast which is so obviously stated in the room. We had to message the host via Airbnb, and we were then informed that there was no breakfast available (with no explanation as to why it is then advertised) and what felt like a refusal to inform us on simple things like where to find reception in order to request a hairdryer. After finally managing to get one we were then informed that the complex only had one iron, and it was broken. We will not be back.

Please read and take heed of the reviews. This place was terrible. The only positive is its location to the beach. We had problem after problem until we walked out after one day. The worst instance, after I had made a complaint to the absentee landlord, was when the staff came in to do multiple things to make the place livable, and they used the toilet. It gets worse...the toilet didn't flush. We were not at all happy and left the premises as quickly as we could The "cooking" facilities were dirty and were really the stuff of nightmares. Only one pot to cook with and it was gross. The cooker was all rusted up and didn't inspire confidence. We couldn't use the pool as they hadn't kept it up to date with the chemicals so were doing a major chemical load. The internet didn't work, and we were apologised to because the TV only had two channels because there was something wrong with the satellite. We lasted one night...I am not sure how.

unless very badly stuck or your planning on drinking enough to be unaware of your accommodation then i would advise not staying here. the room was not only unclean but filthy, the fridge had slime and grime in it. the shower was full of the last persons hair. the place would give you the creeps in general. the location is the best thing about this accommodation,.
