A nice accomodation close to the beach and the village of Perissa. The host was most helpful to recommend hikes and things to do..The room was simple, but very clean and just what we wanted. I would stay there again!

Onar room and studio is not a luxurious hotel but it doesn’t have to ! The room is very local/traditional one , authentic, super clean and this is the right way to connect with the authenticity of Santorini! The bath room is a bit small but it was not an issue at all! The air conditioner works super fine ! Small fridge available, hair dryer upon request, (important only plug sockets 2 pins available ) , room cleaning daily. Don’t drink the tap water as it’s super salty and not drinkable anyway , instead buy a pack of water. The hotel is sold on room only but it’s ok. Most importantly the hotel is geographically well situated in Perissa, very close to the black beach, lots of restaurants, pharmacy, quad/ car rental, super markets, local travel tours … name it ! There is a supermarket 6-7 minutes by walk, which opens at 6h and you can buy your coffee/hot chocolate and croissants! What made the stay also special is the warm welcoming of Georgios the owner. A nice and humble guy always available and will always make his utmost to help and find a solution for you, if needs be. He was not intrusive at all, he gives you your privacy and let you enjoy your stay while being fully available for his guests ! It was a bit windy during September, but I will certainly go back there again. A big thank you again to Georgios and his mother. There are lovely and made us feel comfortable!

We stayed here for a week and were really happy with our stay. The room had good air-conditioning, it was spacious and clean. George was very helpful with suggestions and information for getting around the island. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the bus stop, the beach and lots of eateries whilst still maintaining a calm and quiet atmosphere. We would love to return!
