We booked this hotel through Expedia for what was meant to be a relaxing break while I recovered from recent surgery. I specifically chose this hotel because we intended to spend most of our time relaxing by the pool. Shortly after booking, I received an automated message advising that the pool area was closed for maintenance and that the pool bar would also be unavailable. Concerned, I contacted the hotel immediately and was assured that the maintenance had been completed and they had simply forgotten to remove the message. They confirmed that only the pool bar would be unavailable, which I accepted. Unfortunately, this was not our experience on arrival. There was no one available at reception to check us in, so my husband and I went looking for a member of staff. As we walked around the pool area, it became immediately apparent that it was nothing like the photographs used to advertise the property. Whilst the images online make the pool area appear modern and inviting, the reality was very different. The concrete surrounding the pool was in a very poor condition and the overall finish and appearance of the area was far below what we had expected. The room initially appeared acceptable, but on closer inspection the issues became obvious. The wardrobe door had come off its runner and was simply propped against the wall, the workmanship throughout the room was poor, and the shower was in a very poor state. It felt like an old hotel that had been given a cosmetic makeover without attention to quality or detail. We travel abroad four or five times every year and have never before felt the need to leave a hotel early. On this occasion, we checked out without spending a single night because the accommodation was simply not as advertised. The photographs used online do not, in our opinion, accurately reflect the current condition of the property. They appear to have been carefully taken to avoid showing the areas that are in poor condition, which left us feeling completely misled. We contacted both the hotel and Expedia immediately but received no meaningful resolution. This was a hugely disappointing start to what was supposed to be a much-needed recovery break. We rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel future guests deserve an honest representation of what they should expect.

Wonderful room full renovated at the heart of Santorini! The mattress was so comfy and the perfume in the whole hotel was insane! There are many reasons to come back!

we stayed here from 15/10-17/10/2025. The hotel is very near Thira 5 minutes walking. the hotel has a big private area free of charge. The rooms are very new , modern and comfortable. Cleaning is very good
