The hotel was overbooked, we sat in the lobby for over 4 hours, were not even offered a water after the long trip.
The Miss at the reception was always friendly and helpful, one of the bright spots during our God thanks to only two days stay.
Apart from breakfast, which was the second little bright spot, we can fully agree with the other negative reviews.
+ The shower MUCH too tight, the bars by the pool completely dirty, getting old overall and with the advertised pictures it has nothing to do with anything anymore.
In retrospect, we can be glad about the overbooking. The tour operator has taken us to a much better hotel in the neighboring village, here we finally feel comfortable and can enjoy our holiday.
They charge the tourist tax per person instead of per room, as if you were in a 5-star luxury hotel.

I recently booked a stay at Thera Mare Hotel in Santorini through Love Holidays and was left extremely disappointed. The hotel was nothing like the photos or description shown on the booking website, which used a mix of stock and carefully selected images to give the impression of a luxurious 4-star retreat.
In reality, the hotel was rundown and poorly maintained. The car park was full of building materials and overlooked parked lorries. Our balcony was cramped with rusting furniture, and there was even a yoghurt pot under the air conditioning unit catching dripping water.
The bedroom was grubby, the walls cracked, and the bed rock hard with worn, thin bedding. The fridge was dirty and unstocked (despite mentions of a minibar), the mosquito plug was filthy, and the wardrobe only had a few old hangers. No safe in the room either — something you’d expect at a 4-star property.
The bathroom was tiny. The toilet was so close to the shower that you couldn’t use it without brushing against the too-short curtain, which caused water to flood the floor. The shower barely worked — we had to film it to prove how bad it was.
The breakfast was very basic — a few bits of fruit, cheese, and bread. The pool was dirty with debris floating in it. Every sunbed was either stained or ripped open, the parasols were damaged, and the hot tub was out of use, covered in grime and surrounded by red cones. The pool bar, which was advertised, was closed the entire time we were there.
When I arrived, I was so upset I burst into tears. I contacted Love Holidays via Live Chat and spoke to three agents, but none could help me change hotel. Reception staff refused to issue a refund, saying it was up to Love Holidays. We stayed just one night.
The next day, we had to hire a car and travel around the island to find a new hotel. We eventually secured alternative accommodation at a cost of €3,000 out of pocket, plus car hire. The first two days of our holiday were completely ruined.
Please do not trust the images or description of this hotel as advertised. It is not a 4-star experience and was the worst start to what should have been a special holiday.
