Famissi Eden Hotel

Wow! I have never in my whole life stayed in a hotel this NASTY. The outside is beautiful and stately. The grounds are amazing with this little on-site chapel. Unfortunately the room is SO GROSS. The floors were dirty. The curtain didn’t close completely. The bed was super hard with a thin mattress sitting on wood slats no boxspring. The metal bed frame was longer than the mattress, so you kept stubbing your toe on the corner of the bed frame. As for the bathroom oh my gosh that was laughable. A porta potty would have been cleaner. All the taps were rusty and dirty. The tub and sink were rusty and dirty. JUST HORRIBLE! There was a HUGH spider and its web in the corner attached between the tub and the toilet. The toilet didn’t flush right so you had to use the toilet brush to get things to move. YUCK! Worst room ever I repeat worst room ever. One night in that horrible room, and the bottom of my white slippers were filthy. WHAT A HORRIBLE ROOM!

The hotel, on the surface, looked pretty nice. However, once inside the room, the situation was definitely disappointing: we found cycle stains on the duvets and sheets, hair and dirt scattered all over the place. The beds, in addition to being small, were also very uncomfortable and very hard. The bathroom also left a lot to be desired: the shower was clearly malfunctioning, probably leaking water somewhere, because after a simple shower half the room flooded. The food was another big problem: in the dishes we found hair and, in general, everything tasted stale, as if it were not fresh. The Wi-Fi is practically unusable: in the rooms on the ground floor it does not take at all and you have to move to other areas of the structure to be able to connect. Finally, the reception staff were rude and unhelpful, showing little willingness to help in case of problems. Overall, my experience was bad: I was really horrified and will never go back. Too bad, because the landscape and the surrounding village are really very nice.

I escorted a school from Italy and we stayed there for one night. Excellent location of the hotel, comfortable parking for big buses, love and smile at the restaurant and reception. Very good food, warm and modernly decorated rooms.
