This hotel is very central to the port, shops, restaurants and even has a nightclub at the bottom of the street. However, it is not a noisy location. The beds are comfortable and the room is cleaned every day if you want that. Staff are very friendly and helpful with very good English (which was useful since we don’t speak Greek so we were grateful to them). It is quite old fashioned but that adds to its charm. The pool are and bar are fantastic. Definitely recommend.

Just returned from 7 nights. Hotel is in a good location, 5 minute walk down onto the harbour. Room was very spacious with a balcony, ours was looking out the back of the hotel into the hills. Room was traditionally Greek, nice big double bed was firm but we like a firm bed. Fridge in the room to keep water and drinks cold. Small bathroom but had a good shower. Only thing missing was a kettle. Breakfast served until 10.30 with a good variety of fruits, cereals and cooked. All was replenished regularly by the attentive waiters. The pool area was great. Great views and good sized pool, plenty of sunbeds so you didn't have to be up too early, but we did stay 1st week of July. Might get busier as the summer passes. We did hear the receptionist turning away non residents who asked to used the pool, ensuring it is not too busy for residents. A nice bar that served reasonably priced drinks and food. Bar staff really attentive walking around the pool and serving drinks to sunbeds if you wanted. Shower and changing room by the pool if you have a late ferry when checking out. Hotel transported our cases down to the ferry when we left. Would imagine they would also collect cases when you arrive but we didn't know that, Instead managed to find the steepest hill to walk up with our cases on arrival, although there is a much more gentle route we could have taken. We booked direct with the hotel, great value for money and will definitely book again when returning to Skopelos which had a lovely harbour, and was much quieter than Skiathos.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Dionysos Hotel in Skopelos...its a mixed review...so here goes...the hotel is old fashioned but kept very clean...our room was adequate...plenty wardrobe space...and bathroom usual greek style...breakfast was okay...warm food could have been actually warm...but otherwise plenty choice...staff on the whole friendly...the main plus was the pool area...brilliant...lovely views...and plenty sunbeds...although some a bit worn....now I'm coming to the main gripe...when we arrived...after a 12 hour journey...taxi...flight...ferry...taxi...we was confronted with a online reservation form...First of all asking for my email...then trying to fill the form in with no help...I kept repeatly asking for our key...but no not until form filled in...eventually we succeeded...with help from fellow guest...we was told it was a new greek ruling...well when we went to skiathos the following week that hotel just gave us a form to fill in...which took 2 minutes...I've asked fellow greek travellers and they'd never heard of such a thing...the hotel needs to have a rethink about this policy...
