Pierre & Vacances Village Club Sainte Anne

Great stay, very welcoming staff, the food is super good!!

We stayed 13 days in the village - premium side, TAMARINS. studio with sea view, newly renovated but: 1 of the 2 beds was not comfortable at all, the bathroom was indeed renovated but poorly done (tiling, painting...) otherwise spacious studio for 2, air conditioning okay, nice balcony with equipped kitchenette. Room service every 2 days except for one day when it was not done because the staff was overwhelmed preparing 2 private parties in the village (bar closed, usual restaurant closed, ...) - on the evening of the 2 private parties, there was not a single free spot in the parking lots!!!! we had to drive around for 30 minutes to finally find one!! really not great!!!! We were on half board: varied dishes (they repeat after a week), local cuisine and other more conventional dishes (cordon bleu, pasta, fries...) - well-prepared dishes with good flavors, local fruits morning & evening, ice creams, pastries... The bar is nice, the servers are very friendly, the cocktails are good but sometimes a bit expensive (10-12€) - however, it was closed 4 evenings out of our 12 evenings spent in the village. too bad! nothing else open nearby. 2 small beaches but not very clean (seaweed and a bit of sargassum) Pools okay, rather clean but the liner of the large one is wrinkled, it feels like it is going to come off the walls. Overall, the village is well maintained (green spaces, buildings,...but the lawn is burnt) but in some places, it needs a freshen up! The staff is generally smiling & welcoming So there are positive points & other negatives but overall we had a good stay!

Our studio was perfect (rented from a private owner) and very well located, clean with many amenities and thoughtful touches from the owner that were greatly appreciated. The tranquility of this studio and the view of the sea were greatly appreciated. The exchanges with the renter were pleasant with quick responses to our questions. As for the Pierre & Vacances village itself: private parking where we were able to find a spot every time we returned from a walk, a beautiful pool, and many loungers (low season) .. access allows you to go to the small beach with coarse sand, but we could not swim there due to too much swell and sargassum. The snack bar with takeout meals was often closed unfortunately, the restaurant was expensive, and a convenience store was overpriced!! The pool has a liner that is peeling and is not cleaned every day, especially the foot bath which became slimy towards the end of the stay; one person slipped and fell, and there was no entertainment in June ... Excursion proposals at reasonable prices. The staff at the reception is friendly... The village needs a bit more rigor in terms of cleaning and renovating the pool; otherwise, it was an excellent stay.
