Hotel Casa Antigua

Only spent one night, the room was basic and comfortable. The courtyard and sitting areas were very nice. The front desk was staffed and efficient. Drinking water, tea and coffee were all available.

Checking in was smooth and seamless. Our room (#19) had a damp feel to it. It was always musty during our 5 nights there. Room was clean and housekeeping was quite efficient. The water pressure for the shower was pitiful. Room & washroom amenities were adequate. Location was fabulous. A block and a half from the main square. Eateries, waterholes and attractions are all within walking distance. We would be hard pressed to stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Antigua Guatemala.

This quaint hotel is perfect walking distance to the market and main square. The lobby is adorable with lots of lush gardens and fountains. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The only downside is the beds are very very hard. Checking in the first night was a bit bumpy the clerk could not find my reservation and had to call someone off site. Turns out the reservation was right in front of him on a paper... Overall pleasant, quiet and safe.
