I don't know what other reviews are complaining about - the receptionist, and everyone in the hotel actually, was really nice, I was able to store my luggage during checkout to spend the rest of the day out, and they were very nice about it. I arrived at 1PM and, even though check-in was at 3PM, they let me check in immediately. The hotel room is nothing crazy, bed's a bit hard, but it's 3 blocks away from the Prince Edward metro station, close to several convenience stores, and a 10-minute walk away from Fish market (and all other markets, which are right next there). You don't spend much time in your hotel in Hong Kong, so it's exactly what's needed and nothing more. I'll definitely be back there if I ever go back to HK.

Found the staff rude and they charged my credit card the full amount prior to my arrival to ensure the card was valid. Then charged me again once I arrived. The check valid card transaction was not refunded to my card until 31 days later??? Rooms are okay a little dated and could use a good clean. I found the location okay but I enjoy walking. Being a budget hotel they should understand the issue with them charging me twice and leaving me with no access to these fund for the duration of my holiday but they didn't seem to care. The picture of the hotel is also not a true representation of the property. The hotel is within the building shown not the building as it portrays.

We stayed for 2 nights and surprisingly the room was better as what I expected with the bigger space than any other same type hotels same way with the bathroom, however, needs improvement on the customer service and to provide more initiative on assisting guests. But 2 reception staffs (1boy/1girl) are very helpful though they seemed scared to do something for the guests whenever the manager is around as she seems not an approachable type and will charge you for any request you might ask. And the hotel is kinda 7-10 minutes walk to the nearest MTR station which is not helpful if you have luggages as you would really feel exhausted afterwards. And taxi drivers don't know english (another challenge!) also will ask for additional payment if you have couple of luggages. Overall, I can stay here again but not for shopping purposes.
