Yue Ka Hotel - 52-54 Argyle Street

Since the day I check in they did not clean my room! dirty place I don't like to give even 1 start to this hotel to all Filipino like me don't stay here I get sick and my husband because to much mosquito in this place, I pay online for 6days no choice I can't refund back my money. The room is to small for 3 person!!!!!

this hotel have very good location at center of shopping area in mongkok, a lot of food around, near train station. the room is small, but i am ok for budget hotel, in the beginning very hard to find this hotel, 2 hours i was looking around, tried to asked people around and no one know about this hotel, GPS cannot help also, because the location not in the Main Street, u have to walk to little alley. who can help you is just call to the hotel and the staff gonna help you to get there, even that i still confused also.

I was there for 3 nights, 1st night there were 2 cockroaches when I step into the room. When we informed the staff he just acknowledged and no action. On 2nd night 1 HUGE cockroach in my room that made me freak out. My hubby had to call their staff to get insecticide which they found and got one for us. They mentioned that this is the first time cockroaches were found in their hostel (they think I will believe). Looking at the condition of their building, only fools or idiot will then believe them. I had a restless night as we can catch the pest and I stay up the whole night. I would have moved out if I have not paid the money for the 3 nights. They did not even bother to do service recovery when we requested for late check-out on our last day. My husband told me just pay for the late check out HK $500 which is equal to 1 night stay. That is the worst experience I have with them. I will not recommend this hostel for those who are not pest friendly people. The pillow was to thin and we had to use the bath towel to put on the pillow to make it slightly more comfortable for us. The air-con is very noisy when is turn on, my husband did not sleep well at all. The staff mentioned that we are the only one complained about the air-con noise. We were quite upset with his remarks and I regretted staying there.
