City Hotel Pilvax

We stayed 4 days in this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. You can easily reach the hotel with the airport bus line 100E. Room clean, comfortable beds, television with a few German channels. Hotel is located right in the city, shopping options, restaurants, supermarket directly across the street. Sights are easily reachable on foot. Breakfast is good for omnivores, unfortunately, there were no vegan options (cold cuts, yogurt, sweet pastries). Upon request, I received almond milk. Thanks to the refrigerator in the room, I brought my own items. Great value for money, the hotel is recommended.

Very negative experience at Hotel Pilvax. The published images are light years away from reality. The room was unacceptable: a single bed was practically placed on the floor, the bathroom was uncomfortable, and the shower completely flooded the floor every time it was used. The breakfast staff was rude and unhelpful during the stay.

The location of this hotel is perfect, however unless you want to be woken up between 5-6am, DO NOT stay here. Whether it’s the bin men at 5am, the shops across the way opening their shutters and dragging stuff around at 6am, or the same guy every morning dragging delivery crates up and down the street. It’s near on impossible to sleep from 5am onwards. Also, house keeping service isn’t good. Apart from emptying the bin they don’t do anything else. Have to ask for clean towels and no beds were made. Breakfast ok but a bit cold! Would NEVER stay here again which is a shame.
