Apartments Leslie

Looking very ugly from the outside, this 7 storey block initially looks like its seen better days. The rooms however are very big and have great facilities. Each have a good sized kitchen area with microwave and cutlery. Theres a TV and decent sized lounge / bedroom area. The staff are friendly and brought breakfast to my room each morning. There's 24hr reception if you end up staying out late at some of the nearby bars. The cost of the room was surprisingly cheap. Public transport is close by, Lehel tér Metro station is just at the end of the street. It is also just one stop away from Nyugati Train Station, handy for people continuing on into eastern Europe.

we satyed in December and it was very cold, the wind was blowing from everywhere. We paid for room and breakfast, however, the receptionist told us that the breakfast is for extra payment only. Bad smell is everywhere in this hotel. Its much better on the pictures than in reality. There ar a lot of other much better places to stay around for this price. The only advantage is a cheap (5 euro parking) in the territory.

A little strange and old fashioned place but it has its character. Yes, furniture is simple but you wouldn't expect much for this price and everything is at least clean. Staff is friendly and amicable. Fast cable internet-connection in the room. It's one of these places where the cleaning lady smokes in the elevator right under the no smoking sign. I also liked the location, it's just a 10-minutes walk through an interesting area to get to Nyugati station.
