Mercure Budapest Korona

We were leaving the hotel on Sunday, it was roughly 11:59 am, and about to step out from our room with suitcases for the last time, when a man knocked on our door...he opened the door with his own keys and said "you must leave by 12"! I got scared and yelled I KNOW. This was outrageous, never before has someone came to my room and asked me to leave like this!! I would understand if it was like 12:15 etc. but we were just leaving. Also, the room was very small and the fridge made A LOT of noise all the time but if it wasn't for the rude employer I would've given 4 stars.

We were upgraded for free to a Privilege room including Privilege breakfast – a really great surprise! The room was very nice and the view simply magnificent. The entire staff was very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The breakfast was also excellent and left nothing to be desired. Overall a very pleasant stay and definitely a clear recommendation. We would love to come back!

3rd visit in 3 years. This hotel may not physically be a Raffles or Ritz Carlton but it has the most amazing service! Still very comfortable and in a great location, the people are what makes this hotel shine. Once again special thanks to Milan, Adam, Tamas and Sandor. If. You guys ever come to Tasmania we would love to show you around!!
