Gloria Hotel

Close enough to the City centre, but located in a quiet suburb. What it lacks in the fancy touches of some hotels in makes up for in genuine warm & excellent customer service. A very good selection for the breakfast.

No one at the reception upon arrival. I pressed the bell a few times and after 10 minutes a blonde lady came. Maybe because we pressed the bell, but this lady was anything but nice. The room was okay and so was the small bathroom. The breakfast was ok but with the minimum choice. We were there from September 25 to 30. Temperatures rose to 29°C in Bucharest. The room was sweltering despite the curtains being closed. No air conditioning. The room had no smoke detector, nor were there any smoke detectors seen in the hotel.

Booked a two night stary for my Mom who is not good at English. The front desk replied fast, gave a nice offer, breaksfast and helped with airport transfer. Answered all her questions and helped to a nice day in Budapest. A very nice experience. Thank you
