Ibis Aero

I was in Budapest for a few appointments and this time I chose the Citysouth, as I was not very familiar with that part of Budapest. The hotel is very easily accessible by public transport. Directly across is a very good shopping center where one can stock up on various items. There are not many attractions in the immediate vicinity. The hotel was clean, the service very friendly - I had a room facing the back: a view of greenery, a balcony, and very spacious. Overall, I really liked it.

We stayed as a family of four - the family room (double bed, two singles) was actually more like two rooms as it was so big! This was excellent. Rooms: The family room was more like two rooms. Each 'section' had its own balcony, TV, desk and wardrobes. Note: the balcony doors lock but only by lifting the handle up. Be careful if travelling with very young children as they cannot be secured. Everything was very clean, I have no complaints regarding this. The air conditioning worked well on the first night but did not the second and third nights. Breakfast: A wonderful selection, there is truly something there for everyone! Lots of teas, coffee, cereals, bread, salads, meat, cheese, fruits, yogurt. Hot items offered daily as well, usually a type of egg and a type of sausage. Location: The metro, bus and tram stations are literally across the road. It cannot be more convenient! Take the 3 line to the centre of Budapest in only 15 minutes. From the airport, take the 200E bus, then the 3 line to the metro (one stop). Around 45 minutes.

Very good hotel. Calm place, well maintaned. All stuff are highly professional and polite. Our room was on fourth floor. Everything was great!
