Airport Hotel Budapest

Looks lovely overall but some fundamental shortcomings. Room was way too hot and they have a centrally managed Aircon system which was essentially useless in April. Big hotels really need to consider the false economy of aiming the weather sticks to rules of when it suddenly 'becomes Aircon weather'. Opening the window was the only option to get the toon to bearable temperature, which had to be closed again along 4am due to bird noise. The room also stank of cigarettes despite being a non smoking room. Only option given was a move to two doubles which was no use for it family setup. We also arrived very late and the only food of any description anywhere in the hotel ( bearing in mind it's an airport hotel) at 11pm was a weird piece of chocolate cake at the bar. No crisps , nuts, vending machine... Nothing. We complained about the poor sleep quality and the best the manager was willing to do was about 10 percent discount. General apathy across the board from the service team. Breakfast was average. Interrupted by a fire alarm that nobody explained. Only saving grace to the hotel was a massive swimming pool which to be fair was very nice. Apparently water jets come on every twenty minutes but it only happened once in the hour we were there. Overall, negative experience. Would not return. And hotels: please do saying you "have Aircon" if you fundamentally don't give guests permission to use it.

Price was OK with spa+ breakfast. Staff really nice. Room ok for 1 night single. Pool was really nice. Steam room not that hot. Due to some man doing some oil thing with a fan. Tourist thing. Food at night was nice. Hotel lit up at night. Breakfast. Um. Not that hot. Bacon over cooked. But OK. Not much bread choice. But was all good enough. Coffee machine was top. Good choice of flavours. Vold juice good. Coffee at the bar 1500 huf. Way to much. Service charge in restaurant . Plus a service charge for breakfast. Even if you paid for room + breakfast. Easy to check out. Free taxi for airport . So its ok for early flights . But I won't stay again because the Coffee + service charges are not right for a hotel

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The room was modern, spotless, and very comfortable, with a great view. The hotel facilities were well maintained, and the common areas were stylish and relaxing. The staff provided excellent service and paid attention to every detail. It was a perfect place to unwind, and I would definitely recommend it to others.
