Central Green Hotel

This hotel is truly dire. It is a cheap hotel and I would say you get what you pay for but there are so many nicer hotels for similar prices in Budapest. I’m usually okay with cheaper hotels when travelling as we’re out during the day anyway, but this has definitely put me off from going for the cheapest option when travelling. The room was incredibly dirty, with wallpaper peeling off the walls and a hole in the wall with open electric cables coming out. The bathroom had a very strong sewage odour which made the room unbearable. There is no noise insulation, so loud noises/talking could be heard late into the night. There was a very large vent in the room in which you could see into the staff area which had been hidden by a fan. On entry the curtains were hanging off, leaving an exposed window which looked out into the rest of the hotel. We did not feel safe leaving our valuables in the room when out. It’s hard to find something positive to say about this hotel. The location is pretty good, but Budapest is a very walkable city and a better hotel would be far worth the trade off for a nicer place to stay. If you are looking to stay at this hotel, I would suggest looking into other hotels similarly priced before choosing this one.

Low-end hotel. does not deserve its 3 stars Fair Welcoming. unwelcoming staff television doesn't work electrical outlet coming out of the wall. Dirty skirting boards that take off from the wall shower cabin damaged and which allows water to pass which indicates a total lack of hygiene cleaning is not done every day I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Cheap hotel, they don't make your room, they don't leave you clean towels, nobody knows Spanish, the breakfast justito, good location, no air conditioning, the TV looks bad, the mattress comes out an iron.
