Lord Apartment Hotel

Nice hotel in northern Budapest, a good half hour walk from city center. Has most of what you need, however it is very cheap furniture, some falling apart, and our TV didn’t work. overall, we were happy about the hotel and good value for money.

The location of the residence is very favorable also ideal for walking to the main arteries of Pest, in the area served by markets and multiethnic places to eat, quiet and peaceful residence; equipped with essential services but many details in the apartment should certainly be taken care of better. For example, some ramshackle drawer, we found only two shower towels, no smaller towels or shower gel shade, no tea towel or potholder in the kitchen. We contacted the reception but the number provided seemed non-existent, we had to personally go to the reception the next day (500 MT away from the residence, which we found out at the last moment from a ticket posted on the main entrance and not at the time of booking) but we found a Hungarian receptionist who did not even understand English and with whom it was very difficult to communicate. On the third day, when we were leaving, we received two smaller towels and nothing more. Overall nice apartment, average clean.

Positive: Good value for money, and to spend a few days in Hungary. The room were fairly spacious. There are grocery stores nearby and some drug stores. There 20 minutes of walking if you want to reach river Danube. Easy check in and check out. Perfect car parking location if you reserve it! Negative: There were some holes in the walls and the clock wasn't working. The bathroom could be improved. The extra pillows and blanket that were in the closer were dirty.
