With all the bad reviews of this hotel I didn’t expect much to be honest. Two of us stayed here for the Champions League Final. The hotel is close to the airport. Around 10-15 minutes. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Yes maybe it does need a bit of a makeover but it is what it is, a cheap budget hotel. We were on the 2nd floor. The room was fine. Only problem we had first day was it took ages for the shower to heat up. But that was for the first night only. The bed was comfortable and there was a fridge for you as well. There’s hardly anything near the hotel but it’s not far into town and accessible by bus or cab which weren’t too expensive. The hotel also has a few items for purchase at the reception. Soft drinks/ Beer and some snacks Are there better hotels in Budapest ? Of course there are but if you are on a budget this place is fine

Sheets that are too short do not fully cover the mattress. The simple, poorly insulated windows let in noise from outside. The curtains, which are too short, make it impossible to sleep in the morning, forcing you to wake up at the first rays of the sun. In the room it was impossible to turn up the heating, which was particularly uncomfortable, especially on January 1st when it was cold. The shower offers cold water, and the shower head is fixed, which limits comfort. In addition, the television, dating from the 80s, did not work properly. There were three of us with a reservation for three, however, the receptionist claimed the reservation was for only two people. He insisted that we pay extra for a room for three. We refused this request and provided proof of our reservation for three people. A very bad experience at this hotel. We will never go back there. Not recommended.

Stayed in this hotel for three nights. Modern, comfi room and very clean. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Didn't use the swimming pool but it looked like a nice place to chill. The beach is just at the end of the street, a short stroll away. And everything else is walking distance too. Good value and would stay here again!
