Novotel Budapest Centrum

An excellent hotel with comfortable privilege rooms. Great breakfast. A good quality/price ratio. Lacks a quality restaurant.

Stayed for two nights with my two children for a weekend break; very pleased with the hotel. The staff were very helpful and approachable, storing our luggage and completing precheckin swiftly when we arrived early morning. Our room was bug enough, clean and well stocked with robes, slippers, tea and coffee as well as all toiletries. Every day at 3pm a selection of cakes and biscuits are on offer for a free snack. Breakfast is plentiful and adequate, with a range of pastries, breads, meats cheese and some hot food options such as sausage and egg. Tea and coffee and juice stations are fresh and accessible. The hotel is perfectly located, with a range of amenities nearby including an aldi, burger king, McDonald's etc. Transport links are fantastic, with bus, tram and metro stations within 2 min of walking. Despite being on a busy main road, the rooms were well sound proofed with excellent air conditioning.

We were in a large group, and there were several incidents, like, for example: towels that were not changed, non-collected toilet garbage, clogged bathroom box rails that made the room flood. The bathrooms could have more towel, as well as a furniture to accommodate the suitcase. Breakfast is good, but not premium, and the location is also pleasant. The service at the reception cannot be considered premium either. I hope the hotel can fix these problems.
