Adverts for this site are wholly misleading. It is located in a badly rundown district wholly unlike the impression given by the online photos. The bedding was dirty, no food was available - the 'restaurant' was not in use and no breakfast available despite having been paid for in advance. Access to public transport to city centre was remote and involved walking a substantial distance. We changed accommodation after just one night and booked into the Ibis Centrum for the remainder of our holiday - highly recommended. The trip was booked through Travel Republic and GTA who investigated our complaint and have made a full refund of our initial accommodation costs. We have suggested that the advert on Travel Republic site be removed.

Located in the worse possible place in Budapest. An hour by public transport to get there. Probably 15-minute walk alongside busy roads with vague pavements/sidewalks. The night we went it was winter and had been raining, you have to walk along a dirt road full of pot-holes. Anybody who stays at the place is not likely to be paying out for taxis so you will be forced to use public transport. We decided to not even stay for a night. We found very good AirBnB accommodation in central Budapest. It's cheap but too inconvenient to make it worthwhile. The chap on the reception was friendly enough. Obviously only used as very cheap digs for workmen. No food or bar avaiable anymore.

My sisters and I booked forc7 nights. Upon our arrival were told that they had double booked our room so we got exiled to a dormitory at a neighbouring sports club, sharing bathrooms with men! No aircon, no telephones (as advertised), to hairdryers, sad breakfast, no kettle or coffee fascilities in the rooms. Staff barely speak english, minibar - no, thermal baths - not that I was able to find. The absolute worst however was the day that I had to dry myself and my hair with my clothing and vlean my own roo. because they had not serviced our room!
