Courtyard City Center

Stayed here with my wife for four nights and can honestly say it was a great stay. Our room was large , clean and comfortable, possibly being refurbished not long ago . I had a couple of “niggles” in the room but as soon as I contacted the front desk they were both attended to whilst we were out for the day

The hotel is in an excellent location walking distance to everything and less than a block away from public transportation. The Time Out Market and 3 supermarkets are around the corner. The staff is super courteous and the management is incredible. We arrived to celebrate my birthday and there were a super nice card and some snacks waiting at the room. We had a health-related issue during our stay which was handled immediately and super professionally- and most importantly, the hotel fixed the issue right away for all guests. The rooms are well sized and clean, breakfast buffet is available and there is an on-site restaurant that is open late. My greatest surprise is that they have a partnership with a massage service and can arrange for massages in the room (you pay the service directly). This hotel is located off one of the main squares of Budapest with a main tram service running outside and a metro station less than five minutes walk away. The splendid New York Cafe is a short walk away as are bars and pubs. There is a Spar supermarket next door. The hotel has a large lobby area on the ground floor which comfortably accommodates the reception, bar and restaurant. The lifts are small but there are three of them and you never have to wait long for one to arrive. Rooms are spacious with good storage. There is a safe and the air conditioning is very good. WiFi reception is also good. The beds are large and a little firm. The bathroom has a good walk in shower but would suggest a grab rail being fitted as the shower floor gets a bit slippery. The buffet breakfast was ok particularly the fresh fruit. The restaurant staff are very efficient and friendly. We were in town during an extreme heatwave but felt very comfortable in this hotel at all times. A good place to stay in this vibrant city.
