What a find! Gorgeous place with outdoor and indoor pools. Excellent lunch choices and desserts. Lovely spa, lovely ambience. Went during a heat wave so it was nice to have air conditioning indoors. Loved it !

Returned here recently for a second time with a 50+ participant sport event and it was once again a flawless experience. The staff all around were super easy to communicate with from sales to reception to the restaurant staff, also when needing to make some last minute adjustments.
Even though the building may not look like much from the outside, the rooms are super nicely renovated and very comfortable. They have very many meeting rooms of all sizes as well.
Everybody was impressed with the variety and the richness of the meal buffets. Even though we had full boatd there, the meals never got boring or repetitive and there were also some Hungarian specialties on offer every single time. Loved the whole experience, would be happy to return again.

Please note this review is for the Ensana Spa only — we did not stay at the hotel. I booked the spa through Get Your Guide based on the largely positive reviews.
First Impressions:
The exterior of the building wasn’t promising (it resembles an old government office), but we went in anyway. Reception was modern, the staff were lovely, and we were given towels and wristbands for the lockers.
Changing Room:
The women’s changing area was clean, well‑equipped, and easy to use.
The Spa:
At first glance, the spa looked like a standard modern facility, but a few things quickly stood out:
Age group: aside from a handful of people, almost all guests were over 65.
Facilities: there were numerous hoists, extra handrails, chairs around the pools, and a pebbled cold‑water walkway clearly designed for therapy.
Observation window: one thermal pool had a window with what looked like a nurse monitoring guests — not a lifeguard.
It became clear this is primarily a medical rehabilitation spa, which isn’t a negative in itself, but it was not what we expected.
Saunas: There are small gender‑separated sauna areas that are clearly marked as textile‑free. However, many guests ignored this, so when I followed the rules and entered nude, I was stared at as if I was in the wrong and therefore I felt very uncomfortable.
Steam room: Very powerful (which I usually enjoy), but the steam outlets were at foot level, making the floor so hot I had to leave.
Get My Guide: My criticism is aimed more at Get Your Guide, whose description is misleading. Although my review was published on their site, it has been buried and is hard to find.
In summary: If you have limited mobility or prefer a quiet, non‑touristy thermal experience, this spa is suitable. But if you’re looking for a regular thermal bath experience, choose Rudas Baths or Széchenyi Baths — both are excellent.
