The secure bike parking was limited to two sets of 3 bikes which was a shame because there were a few groups of cyclists staying in the hotel. The bike parking was in a secure underground car park so felt secure enough when we chained our bikes up. We had a smaller room than in some hotel chains but adequate. Nice sized shower to make up for the small room. Clean room. Not blackout curtains. There was a washing machine/dryer available for guests to use which was great halfway through our week’s cycling trip. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. There was a TV with English commentary for the Tour de France which pleased my husband.

My stay at the IBIS Hotel in Győr was outstanding and exceeded my expectations in every way. I felt very comfortable there from the first to the last day and can recommend this hotel with a clear conscience. The rooms were exceptionally clean, modernly furnished, and very comfortable. Particularly noteworthy are the well-functioning air conditioning and heating, as well as the large flat-screen TV. The bed was extremely comfortable and very well-maintained, allowing me to sleep excellently. The rooms can only be accessed with an electronic key card, which provides an additional sense of security. The sanitary facilities were also in impeccable condition. Everything was very clean and hygienic. Personal care products such as shower gel were naturally available. The entire hotel gave a very well-kept and professionally managed impression. The staff was always extremely friendly, polite, helpful, and professional. It was particularly pleasant that the employees also spoke English. The reception is staffed around the clock, providing additional comfort and security. Payment by credit card is also possible without any issues. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and very delicious. A large buffet was offered starting at 6:30 AM, where nothing was really missing. The breakfast room as well as the lounge area were also very clean and invitingly designed. I also found the hotel bar particularly pleasant, which offers drinks of all kinds around the clock. Additionally, the good parking options directly at the hotel are very positive — both in the underground garage and in front of and behind the building. Since I am severely disabled, I was able to use the parking spaces free of charge, which I found very accommodating. The hotel is generally very accessible and barrier-free equipped. Two elevators additionally ensure a pleasant and uncomplicated stay. The location of the hotel is excellent. Sights, museums, churches, restaurants, cafés, and the city center of Győr can be easily reached on foot. Public transportation is located directly in front of the hotel. Gas stations and supermarkets are also just a few steps away. The good transport connections and quick access to highways also make the hotel ideal for travelers and passersby. I was particularly pleased with the two complimentary welcome drinks — a very nice gesture from the hotel. Overall, my stay at the IBIS Hotel Győr was excellent. Cleanliness, comfort, friendliness of the staff, service, and location definitely deserve 5 stars in my opinion. I would be very happy to return and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

I would like to mention that we are regular customers of the Accor chain and chose this hotel for its strategic location and parking availability. Everything is fine as always, but here the staff proved to be VERY kind and helpful, WELL DONE!!
