We had a fantastic experience with this hotel. We were an extended family of 8; booked 3 deluxe rooms. Rooms were clean and very spacious. Staff was helpful and kind, with special recognition to Anna at reception who helped us in several different ways. Each of my family arrived on a different day; early check in was available for a small/reasonable fee for those who needed it. Cribs were available for those who needed it. Breakfast was ample with lots of great options. There's a 24/7 grocery store around the corner. Reykjavik is small, this hotel is located in great proximity to the shore walk, is a reaonsbly short wak from downtown and the concert hall, and is a couple short blocks from the main shopping and restaurant street. We walked everywhere in downtown that we wanted to go. Note that rooms are sparse - small night stands, no dressers or closets or luggage racks, rather a clothing rack. Blackout curtains were topnotch; had the best sleep here of any of my 20 days in northern Europe during the summer. We had a super comfortable stay here.
