Spent our first night in Reykjavik here -- fabulous location to be able to walk around the sites and to meet our tour bus the next day. Reasonably priced for the location as well. Only disappointment was the reception staff mostly seemed to be miserable so didn't feel very welcomed or valued. Be aware there are 2 building to this hotel so a bit confusing and breakfast is in the main building.

The TripAdvisor image for this hotel is not this hotel but rather the local concert hotel. This hotel is a collection of a few small apartments buildings right in the walkable area of time. The location is perfect but the rooms are uncomfortably tiny. At least they were clean and we did get a good nights sleep with the window partially open for some air.

Room was nice, the few staff we interacted with were friendly, and location was central however the thumping from the bar below kept us up all night. It was going on until 6am and was so loud and unpleasant. Really put a sour taste in our mouths unfortunately.
