Lily Guesthouse

The Lily Guesthouse is a small, a bit off the beaten path place operated by a very friendly couple. The rooms are simple and only a couple have bathrooms in the rooms but the community bathrooms and showers are spotless. We spent 4 night here (me and two teenage girls) and we all had a blast. Breakfast each morning was great the the hosts were more than willing to make suggestions for interesting activities and restaurants. Free parking and WI-FI are both a real plus. Would definitely stay there again.

My nephew, friend and I stayed at Guesthouse Lily for 9 nights and we had a great time here. Lily and her husband are the most accommodating hosts, we arrived on an early flight and Lily was up early to meet us. She helped with directions, put some postcards in the mail for us, loaned me a fan for my room (even though it was 60 F I still like a fan!) and was a lovely person to talk to. About the facility - CLEAN! It is a design where you share showers and bathrooms and WOW so clean! The beds were comfy and the linen and towels fresh and so lovely after a long day of adventure. The cost was very reasonable and I would absolutely stay here again! My friend who has exacting taste really enjoyed the facility as well, and of course we all enjoyed Lily! There is a light breakfast provided and a full kitchen to cook in if you are interested. It is SO CLOSE to everything in the city without the city cost. We highly recommend the Lily Guesthouse, and of course Lily! She's such a lovely host!

Our first night in Iceland was spent here, and we loved it! Our room was very clean and we loved the decor. The balcony was lovely as well. Our refrigerator ended up slightly leaking water onto the floor, but the staff immediately came and helped and fixed the problem. We love this place and we will return when we come back to Iceland!
