Icelandair Hotel in Keflavik

Front desk not overly friendly; room view was terrible. Need more pillows.

It’s a really good value hotel. Situated near the airport, it is excellent for next day early flight accommodation. We were promptly upgraded, which was much appreciated. The service was very nice, I must say much warmer than in fancy Reykjavík hotel we stayed at earlier. The breakfast spread was extensive. The rooms were clean, air conditioning in good working order, no issues there. The library sitting room was very cozy. The hotel exceeded my expectations.

We had originally planned to stay at the Keflavík Hotel in the same street but then decided that the ParkInn looked much better and luckily they had connecting rooms available. The rooms were bright and nicely functional at a very fair price. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was good and pleasant and professional waiters. If we ever find ourselves in Keflavík again or need an airport hotel, we’d certainly stay again.
