For breakfast, I'm happy to enjoy Japanese breakfast. I like the fact that it is full of vegetables. The room also feels more than balanced with the price. The hotel staff are friendly and we recommend this hotel because it is comfortable. The hot water is also well served, which is sufficient for the provision of bottled water. There's a Japanese restaurant called Manami, and it's soothing because it's delicious no matter what you eat. The proximity to Sultanpur Station on Delhi Metro Yellow Line, where there is no problem on foot, is also a good point for staying for various purposes.

We stayed at the Avalon Courtyard on our last night in India, and they saved the best til last. This hotel, run by a Japanese lady named Rika Sawae, was excellent. After leaving the chaos that is the streets of Delhi you are greeted by a small Japanese styled courtyard. After passing through the glass doors you enter an atrium, where all the rooms look down into the inner sanctum of the hotel. The roo s are spacious, including a lounge, bedroom and a small kitchen with a fiull-sized refrigerator. The bathroom was roomy, and the whole vibe projected a newness instead of the worn furnishings experienced at other hotels throughout India. The restaurant was wonderful, and the Teriyaki Chicken was a welcome relief from the endless curries. The staff were attentive and friendly, and Miss Sawae was genuinely interested in our opinions. I would highly recommend staying here and, while it wasn't 5 stars, it was close and certainly way better than most of the other 4 star hotels we stayed at during our trip.
