Cavala The Sea Side Resort

I loved Cavala! Our immaculate room (called Samui) was a separate structure made entirely of teak and glass...it was beautiful, particularly at sunset (see photos). The staff is helpful and friendly...kudos to Shabaana the Boss Lady and Sanjib the breakfast chap extraordinaire. And from a guy who has owned and run a coffee company for 27 years....their coffee was the best I had in India.

We were in Goa celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. From previous experiences, Cavala was our first choice of accommodation. This time also their hospitality and warmth made our vacay special. I spoke with the GM, Ms, Shabana Khan before booking . She ensured we had the top floor room with a huge hanging balcony. The luxury of spending time on this balcony doing nothing with the world passing by was magical. We loved their Friday retro musical night ...Lavina's ensemble was a terrific band... Surrounded by happy strangers it was a magical evening of music, dance, drinks and food. We had a special table reserved for us. The team comprising of very warm, Ms. Shabana , Ms Maria, Benny and team @ the restaurant, young Internee Ishaan and even the cabbies were all super warm and kind. Goa for us is Cavala.

This small hotel was very close to the beach, clean and the staff was super helpful, friendly and nice. We booked the hotel for 3 nights and stayed a couple extra nights. Our room had a small balcony and was a nice place to enjoy a beer when there was a nice breeze. The breakfast was awesome. After the second day they asked us if we wanted masala dosa and it was absolutely delicious. And the coffee was to die for.The beds were a bit hard but everything else was super. I highly recommend this hotel .
