1. Booked an apartment online for five nights going by good reviews of customers. 2. Check in - Arrived half an hour early but it took an hour to prepare the apartment for us to move in. The person at the make shift reception looked completely at a loss to figure out that we had a booking and his people need to check us in. 3. However, the apartment looked spacious, nice, neat and tidy with a small flat screen tv in the living room and all basic furniture, a comfortable bed and a closet in the bedroom. The bathroom had a small instant geyser, clean towels and toiletries. The kitchen contained a microwave, an induction heater, a water filter and some basic heating utensils, glasses, cups, a little cutlery and of course a tea/coffee maker kettle. On the whole everything basic one needs to spend good five nights stay at a tourist destination. But you have to arrange your own consumables to make use of the kitchen and the kettle. We preferred to cook our own breakfast. All the supplies are available in abundance in the nearby shops and a super store at a little distance. 4. The housekeeping job was good, the people attending us were professional and were quick to meet our requirements 5. The building has three apartment blocks equipped with old design lifts which sometimes looked dangerous to operate and step in. The Humming Wood society also has a shared swimming pool which we didn’t use. 6. There is a temple nearby and a small market with restaurants, wine shops, bars and grocery stores. The surrounding is scenic with coconut, mango and other trees. But the traffic on the street and high decibel noise levels of the passing vehicles can spoil your night’s sleep if you happen to occupy the accommodation in the front block. We had to suffer this nuisance for two nights when the management shifted us to the front block for some inexplicable reason. 7. The Vagator beach is about 20 minutes walking distance, if you are not inclined to spend a minimum of Rs 500 on hiring a cab even for a small distance. This beach we found one of the most beautiful, clean and visited by a good behaving crowd unlike the others like Baga etc which we found dirty, cluttered and overcrowded. 8. Overall a good experience at Humming Woods but the people there need to be more professional especially at the reception counter, and improve the upkeep of the outer areas which presently give it a shabby and worn out look. A good value for money deal at the Humming Woods.

A very well maintained and gated complex with a very silent atmosphere. Loved our stay here.The pool was clean.The complex is in good shape and can be used by people who love to stay in peace.we booked one of their apartment on 3rd floor, lift was there so was not much of any problem for kids to play around.

Terrible, they cancelled once there on new year's eve and left us stranded without any help nor solution whatsoever. My partner and another pair of friends were also in the same situation and decided to go to the police station to try and get help, police wanted to help but then it seems they were possibly bribed by the hotel management. Therefore I am very very unhappy with this place and they're customer service (non at all-also, hotel doesn't provide WiFi). Please for your own peace of Mind= do not stay here
