Terrible Experience – Not Worth the Price I stayed at River Grand, Manali and it was a complete disappointment. The room was dirty at check-in and not cleaned properly. The hotel is located near a dumping zone, so there’s a constant smell of garbage when you’re outside. I paid ₹12,000 per night for the Monarch Suite, but the Jacuzzi didn’t work, TV and Wi-Fi were useless, and the room smelled bad. Bathrooms had only basic amenities and the staff, especially housekeeping, was rude and unhelpful. The food was awful—buffet was always short, and meals tasted bland. This is a 2-star hotel charging 5-star rates. Definitely not recommended.

We visited Manali in December 2019 and stated at this resort. It is a 3 star property. Almost 3km from Mall road, the hotel is on the main highway going towards Manali. The place is a bit deserted but that makes it peaceful and quiet. Just outside the hotel flows the whistling river Beas, which gives an amazing view from the rooms. The buffet breakfast has average variety. The in room dining is pretty expensive and being located at a distance from all road limits the options to have meals. Beat option is to have meals while going out for sightseeing and come back to hotel. However their housekeeping is pathetic. Most of the time they don't answer the phone calls if you need something. If you call the front desk, they arrange the stuff from the housekeeping, butnit takes a good time. This is the only thing that needs improvement. All in all, a cosy and nice place to stay, away from the main city, and enjoy the scenic beauty

It was fantastic experience being greeted very politely and humbly by the resort 🏩 staff. We were astonished at the sight of view from our room window,felt like flying and landing upon the cotton bed of snow which was visible from the rooms window far ahead with a ray of golden sunlight falling on the mountain caps giving reflection of white and golden rays that were welcoming us to be a part of snow capped mountain.thats it we all instantly fell in love with manali and all this because of the splendid hospitality we were receiving from time to time according to our want and desire from The River Crescent Resort and from there started our journey of enjoyments in manali for 3 days .Love to return back again.
