Houseboat

Our stay at Omar Khayam was incredibly disappointing. They seem to charge for every little thing, even breathing if they could. My wife and I booked through Goibibo, impressed by the pictures of a houseboat. Upon arrival, we were told our booking was for a cottage on land, and the houseboat would cost an additional ₹3000. When we refused and began looking for alternatives, they called back, offering it for ₹1500. Reluctantly, we agreed, but they later charged us extra for water (₹500), a blanket (₹500), and other items, inflating the total back to ₹3000. Truly a pathetic experience—avoid at all costs. Please don't go there

Very beautiful house boat, in good condition, best location possible (right at a corner, with a lot of space for 2 decks), delicious food (Kashmir rice was delicious) and good hospitality by Mr. Fayaz, her daughter and son Omar. Fantastic relation price for quality. Enjoy!

It was a dreamy stay. The rooms were clean, spacious and amazing. The owner was very kind hearted as he arranged lunch for us. It was the best experience I ever had. I think everyone should go ahead for such an amazing property if want to spent a night in a houseboat. The view was amazing though
