The Senate

i booked it but due to network issue was not successfully paid. i directly visit then after it was showing full.i requested but was not getting response at last i tried again and booked online then the staff allowed and not got best service.

I definitely did not imagine that a hotel could be overbooked. But it was to happen. I had booked through a travel website a week or 10 days back before the travel date. On the travel date, I arrived at the reception and provided my details to the manager ( Mr Sajin or Sajid or whatever his name was). Upon informing the overbooking, I was told to contact the travel website. Upto this point, everything seems reasonable, doesn't it? This is the point where all the issue starts. I understood I had to contact the travel website and not the hotel authorities which I did. The travel website offered to find a resolution but demanded a minimum of 1 to 2 hours time. I literally had no where to go and the manager helped making it worse. He was pretty rude. He could have offered me to wait at the lobby. But all he did was speak nonsense. Upon confronting on why he should not be rude to his customers, he did not have any courtesy nor did he sport a sorry look. In fact he was taunting me by asking how should he treat and talk. I never imagined this experience with "The Senate". It was one of my favourite places to be. After this experience, I have personally asked my friends to rethink their decision on visiting this hotel and now I ask the people reading this to do. Because when the odds are against you, people like Mr Sajid would treat you this way and make your experience from bad to worse.

Pathetic is the word. One of the poorest service one can get. You have to ask these guys for soap, towels. If it's not there, they won't keep it. For breakfast, I had to scold them that there's nothing but empty containers. About closing time was their very reason. They don't have openers, give old bisleri drum for guests to drink. Horrible. Don't check in here at all.
