As a Ernakulam resident(Karikkamuri Cross Road) last 45 plus years I am going to the restaurant 5-6 times or more every year. Last Sunday also My wife and Myself went for lunch before 12.30, not crowded. Unusually the service was very bad, waiters were very disinterested even to listen fully our orders or to make any suggestions, virtually no second service or even not asking. We left the restaurant with a bad taste and disappointing treatment in 45 plus years.

Fabulous stay yet again at the lovely property.. Neat clean rooms, fantastic food be it the kerala food or the western. Very friendly staff minus one in the whole property However, this time the staff during check out was very non attending, was on the phone and refused to acknowledge.

Exceptional hotel especially given modest price. Very comfortable room with timber panelling. Excellent bathroom. Great bar with everything you could want although pricey. And a fabulous and obviously very well known restaurant. The Travel Desk was exceptionally helpful I thought I had made a mistake by not staying in Fort Kochi but a ferry to there 20 minutes walk from the hotel solved that issue
