Had an amazing stay at SouthernPanorama Indriya. It truly stands out among the Luxury Resorts in Munnar with its peaceful location, stunning hill views, and comfortable rooms. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent. The calm atmosphere makes it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Munnar with family or friends. Highly recommended for a refreshing getaway.

I recently stayed at Southern Panorama Indriya Resorts from March 5th to 7th, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped for. I had specifically booked a jacuzzi villa looking forward to some relaxation, but the condition of the villa was extremely disappointing. The jacuzzi itself was unusable — the side panels were falling off, exposing wiring, which felt like a serious safety hazard. The tap used to fill the tub was faulty, making it almost impossible to properly control hot and cold water. To make matters worse, there was no continuous supply of hot water, meaning we couldn't even fill the tub to a usable level. This defeated the entire purpose of booking a jacuzzi villa. Another letdown was the lack of any scenic view from the villa, which is something most other resorts in Munnar offer, especially from the jacuzzi areas. I had raised all these concerns with the reception during my stay. While plumbers were sent to try and fix the issues, they couldn't resolve them due to what seemed like a shortage of time and resources. Traveling with my wife and infant son, we were really counting on the jacuzzi experience to make our stay special, and it was extremely frustrating not to have that. To be fair, the rest of the resort was pleasant — the food was excellent, and the ambience of the property was beautiful. However, the condition of the jacuzzi villa was simply not acceptable and left a sour taste overall. I have pictures and videos documenting these issues. As of now, I have refrained from posting them publicly. I have also reached out to the management requesting a refund of the difference between the jacuzzi villa price and a basic room, given the unusable state of the facility. I sincerely hope the resort takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements for future guests.

The place is simply over-rated because of the forced/prompted review by their staff. It’s not at all a worthy stay. The least thing which you expect in Munnar would be hot water and clean rooms. They lack both. You would expect a worthy luxurious rooms and resort feel. But, the rooms are just like a budget stay facility in an incredible location. Even the DTH was not recharged. Simply, a holiday trip spoiled and money wasted. Have seen other guests making similar complaints while checking out. Even the bed linen was not clean. The room had stinky smell. The staff are good & courteous, but can’t help in fixing the complaints of the ill-managed property. If you are with kids / elderly people think twice before you book. Suggested not to opt any rooms on the left side of the resort, right side ones provide you a resort like feel, while the former ones are isolated and hard to climb the steep slope.
