A beautiful experience. We were felt welcome in the temple town of Khajuraho. The Chandella king devout SANATAN WORSHIPPER have carved poetry out of stones. Worthy of the best temples of Bharat only may be short of Kailasha mandir in Ellora.
The hotel is placed in visual distance of the Western group of temples.
Some tips for fellow travellers and specially foreign origin ones
1. Stay in LALIT TEMPLE VIEW ROOMS for a divine experience and not the garden view although it must be as tastefully done.
2. Just next to the hotel is the ASI Museum. Go there first walking and revel in history. Not an AC facility but covered and having 2000 artefacts.
3. Then there is outstanding TRIBAL MEUSEUM, most tastefully done. Not to be missed. It’s camera worthy with details of lifestyle of the Tribes of MP. There Hindu culture and practices of praying to the nature.
4. Now comes the pro tip. Go to the Western group of temples at 6 in the morning with no crowds to disturb. Come back and have a hearty breakfast and then enjoy the swimming pool in nature. Do the museums in late noon and then see the light and sound show in walking distance to the hotel.
