Hotel Ajanta

I visited this hotel on a business trip, but it was an utter disappointment. As I booked the room through an online portal, they gave a small room. The actual room offered to me is very different from what is shown on pictures on the online platform . After speaking with them I was informed that all rooms are sold out, but they can upgrade my room with some extra money. I agreed upon this and they provided an upgraded room, which was spacious and near and clean from the earlier one. The hotel needs renovation and the front house staff needs to be more courteous towards customers, I feel.

The location is fine, near the Juhu beach. Breakfast also is fine incase you are okay with Indian food. But not much choices available, so even you cannot get a fresh omlete or dosa for you, if its not in buffet menu. Checkin took time as they get to fill manual forms despite you put an online booking and also have the big register still to sign. The Wifi is not a good one, takes hell lot of time to connect. Rooms are clean, but doesn't have any facility like fridge etc. Do not expect anything in terms of shower too. Its a normal low pressure shower. It can be only for a transit hotel or if you are looking for some inexpensive one as compared to others., but when I visited it was still expensive too. Checkout wasnt smooth as the lady in front kept asking me to send the payment via phone pay receipt, and had to catch a flight so asked her to click the pic. In all okay kinda experience

Very disappointed! Old hotel, room floor unclean and had to have this cleaned again. Washroom wooden floor needs replacing and looks dirty. Rooms in need of renovation. Noticed insects on tables and mosquitoes in room, only disappeared when I switched on air conditioning. But a professional hotel should know how to present clean rooms to guests! Squeaky fan kept me awake and was bit by something at night when I turned AC off. Next time I would pay a little more and get a cleaner room. Cleaners were respectful
