great service, clean rooms, and a good location, such as "The staff were very kind and helpful," "Rooms were very clean and comfortable," and "Great location close to everything."

I spent a week at this hotel in early July, travelling for work. It is very clean and peaceful, with helpful staff. The location is convenient, with many places of interest just a 15 minute taxi ride away and a reasonable journey time to the airport. While staying, I ate most of my meals at the Konkan Cafe, where I enjoyed the excellent food and the ambience. I particularly appreciated the guidance of Laxmikant, who steered this not very spice-tolerant European towards milder options on the menu and gave advice about which accompaniments suited which main dishes. I very much enjoyed my stay.

Excellent food and excellent service. Mr Lakshmikant was most helpful and advised us very well as to what to order.
