Trident Nariman Point

I stayed at Trident Nariman Point Mumbai, during a work trip with 3 colleagues from the same company. All four of us had bookings made by our company in the same room category. Three of us, all Indian, requested an ocean-view room but were told that none were available. However, when our European colleague made the exact same request, he was given ocean-view room immediately… We discovered this next day and were genuinely hurt and disturbed. When we raised the issue, our rooms were changed on the last day evening, making us question why an ocean-view room had suddenly become available. I hope there was a better explanation because the experience felt like discrimination based on nationality. What makes it even more disheartening is experiencing this kind of unequal treatment in our own country. A high-end hotel should make every guest feel equally respected, regardless of whether they are Indian or a foreign national. This racism was not expected from a reputed property like Trident. Hospitality should be about treating every guest with the same dignity & fairness.

I had a wonderful and memorable experience at The Trident, Nariman Point. I visited to celebrate my birthday, and the entire team made the occasion truly special. The welcome experience was excellent. The staff greeted us with beautiful smiles and warm hospitality, and the cappuccino served during the welcome was really good. The check-in process was smooth and comfortable, and I was allocated my room promptly. The room was beautifully decorated with flowers and balloons, along with a delicious birthday cake. The cake was excellent in taste, and the mesmerising sea view made the celebration even more special. The cleanliness, ambience, food, and overall service were all up to the mark. The staff were extremely polite, courteous, and professional, and their attention to detail was impressive. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I truly enjoyed every moment. I would definitely love to visit again and highly recommend The Trident, Nariman Point for a memorable stay.
