We stayed at this lovely hotel twice in March 2026 - once with our safari group, and again, after our safari was finished, as a nice way to relax and get ready for the long trip back to Australia. The accommodation is comfortable, beautiful, and well-maintained with gardens in flower. The rooms are spacious, have free WIFI, sufficient power plugs for charging equipment, and a complimentary fruit basket.
The staff is friendly and attentive. Laundry service is available. The food is plentiful and tasty. Drinks are available at the bar or in the outside courtyard. (The local Indian white wine I had here was a fraction of the price I later paid at a hotel in Delhi for the same wine!)
The Birder's Inn is in close proximity to Keoladeo National Park, known for its birdlife. Tuk-tuks can pick you up from the hotel entrance and take you to the park.
I much prefer staying in accommodation like The Birder's Inn rather than the expensive, fancy hotels. It's like a home away from home.

We stayed at the inn for three nights as part of the Natural Focus Taj, Tigers and Temples trip.
The accommodation is great and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was large, the bed comfortable, the bathroom well equipped and the shower was great.
The food was the best we ate in India. There are indoor and outdoor dining areas. The meals are buffet style with a bias towards vegetarian Indian cuisine. There were sufficient options for those not so keen on Indian food.
The inn is perfectly located a few hundred metres from the Koeladeo bird reserve entrance. The owner of the inn is a birder and will no doubt be able to assist with organising visits/guides to the park and answering any questions you may have.
Highly recommended, especially for birders. I will definitely return.

Our stay at Birders Inn Bharatpur, & the sanctuary itself both became additictive. Birders Inn felt like a beautiful pampering home, & the sanctuary called us out every morning.
The hotel has aesthetic haveli like architecture, & the rooms are spacious. Stacked well with toiletries. Take care to ask for well-lit rooms.
The food though routine was prepared fresh & tasty. We had a full Navratri breakfast complete with puri, chana , halwa.
Special mention for the chef Solanki, thanks for excellent food & service. And to reception folks Shashank & Dasrath. You made our visit special.
