Hilltop Palace (C)

Location is great. Rooms are spacious. But services are not well. Staff is not courteous. The 3 star rating of hotel and rates are not matched to this property. only basics are provided. Swimming pool was left unattended, you won't get towel, you have to carry by yourself. No gamings or anything in extra. Not worth spending too much at this hotel. its best to go anywhere else.

Very poor hotel management. Shabby rooms, dirty swimming pool. Even after requesting multiple times the pool was not cleaned. Very bad experience.

Extremely disappointing experience so far at Hilltop Palace. We have booked a **Deluxe Lake Facing Room (Room 414)** and paid extra specifically expecting a premium lake-facing stay. Unfortunately, apart from the lake view, almost everything else about the room has been a major letdown. The **maintenance and hygiene standards are shockingly poor** for a hotel that markets itself as a premium lake-facing property. The pillow covers and towels have visible stains, which is completely unacceptable in any hotel charging these prices. However, the **most disturbing part of the experience is the washroom**. It is extremely old, poorly maintained and gives a very unhygienic impression. The toilet seat looks outdated and dirty, the mirror is stained, and the tiles are old and grimy. The entire bathroom feels like something from a decades-old budget lodge rather than a “Deluxe” category room. What makes this even more frustrating is that **the photos shown on booking platforms display modern, clean and well-maintained washrooms**, which is clearly not what guests are actually being given. The reality of the room is drastically different from what is being advertised online, which feels misleading and unfair to guests who are paying a premium expecting a certain standard. Frankly speaking, **the washroom in my own home is in far better condition than what is being offered here as a deluxe room**. I am **currently staying at the property and will be here for the next 3 days**, so I sincerely hope the management takes this review seriously and addresses these issues immediately. A hotel with such a fantastic location and lake view should not be delivering such poorly maintained rooms. Right now, it feels like guests are being charged premium prices purely for the view while the **actual room quality and upkeep fall far below basic expectations**.
