The Lotus Service Apartments

I stayed at Burkit Road between 23-26th Dec and it was a string of disappointments in hospitality. I was trying to wheel my aged mother in, but there was no ramp. I asked for some help to lift her in wheelchair over the steps.. Zero assistance. There is no service assistance at any floor.. The front office persons didn't even smile or greet.. Guests have to carry their luggage themselves. No tea or coffee on demand. When checked with front desk who gave a cold response to get it ordered through zomato. GRT Hotels should seriously introspect whether they fit into Hospitality industry.

I had booked a 3 week stay with this hotel on the 24th of June. The following Monday afternoon the man at the front desk tells me that I have to check out on Wednesday (1 week into my stay). he says that he needs my room to allocate to another guest and is unable to move me to another room. I told him that he should have given me some kind of notice so that I could find another accommodation but he just shrugged his shoulders and told me that 1 days notice was a notice. This person was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout my stay and seemed like he hated his job. The hotel itself offers nice rooms but no room service, outdated gym and an incompetent and unprofessional front desk staff. I have never had my stay cut short due to a hotel overbooking people nor have I been treated so poorly by a receptionist. This place is outdated and not worth its price.

Good spacious, quiet room. Location ok. Parking inside premises. Improve: - wifi (very Flimsy). Mobile data also does not work in the room. - provide normal filtered water on request, instead of mineral bottled water - no restaurant or room service. Remove room service from phone and website. - no good places to eat within walking distance. Nearest is near TTD temple. - ac remote connected to wall. Should be separate to make it easier to operate. - mirror on the outer side of bathroom door. Dangerous, especially in the night. - had to carry our luggage to the room. No staff available
