Hotel Sea Breeze

The receptionist and the manager were unprofessional and unfriendly throughout our stay. Their attitude toward guests was disappointing and did not reflect acceptable standards of customer service. In addition, the rooms were not properly cleaned and failed to meet basic standards of hygiene and comfort. The restaurant was excessively expensive considering the quality of the food and service provided. Furthermore, the waiters appeared unwelcoming, and their gestures and interactions with guests conveyed a lack of hospitality, which made the dining experience uncomfortable and less enjoyable. Overall, our stay was unsatisfactory, and based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

We had an excellent evening get-together at Sea Breeze Resort on 08 May 2026 at their restaurant, Marmoris, with a group of 30 people. The entire experience was truly memorable. From the General Manager, Mr. Shadab, to every member of the restaurant team, everyone was extremely attentive, courteous, and focused on guest comfort. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the evening. The food at Marmoris was excellent, with great taste and quality in every dish. Since we had shared our à la carte order in advance, everything was perfectly prepared and ready when we arrived, which made the gathering smooth and enjoyable. The location near the sea added a beautiful touch to the evening. We truly enjoyed the refreshing sea breeze, peaceful atmosphere, and scenic surroundings. A special thanks to Mr. Shadab for the wonderful arrangements and the personal care he extended to our group. His attention to detail and guest-friendly approach made the event even more special. Highly recommended for family gatherings, corporate get-togethers, and group dining experiences in Mahabalipuram.

Hotel sea breeze is a well appointed classic style hotel in the mahabalipuram town. It’s literally a short walk away from the Arjuna penance. The hotel has good beach access and a sea-side restaurant to add to the splendor; but mind the high prices. Breakfast was on the house and pucca local food delivered nicely. Just Idly dosa pongal stuff. From the cliff end, could catch a glimpse of the beautiful evening view of shore temple too. Would recommend it for medium budgets but stay away from the pricey restaurant. If you want 5 stars we have plenty of options elsewhere
