Dear Management, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent phone interaction with your hotel reception/front desk staff. I had called your hotel to inquire about possible job openings and politely requested to be connected with the HR department. However, the lady who answered the call responded in a very unprofessional manner. She simply said “Hello” without any proper greeting or hospitality etiquette, and when I requested to speak with HR, she abruptly replied, “No, there is no vacancy,” without even listening properly or offering any courteous response. As someone from the hospitality industry with many years of experience, I believe professional communication and polite behavior are basic standards expected from hotel staff, especially at the front desk. Even if there are no vacancies, the response could have been more respectful and welcoming. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures better communication standards in future. Hotel Metro Palace is a good option in a great Bandra location. The room itself was perfectly ok, and a good tip is that the backside rooms are pretty quiet. We found the cleanliness and amenities to be acceptable for our stay. The only part of our experience that was a problem was the checkout process. We received multiple calls on our mobile starting at 8:30 AM to remind us about the 11:00 AM checkout time, even after we confirmed on the first call that we would be leaving before then. This felt like an unnecessary disturbance. That aside, the hotel is perfectly fine and serves its purpose well, especially if you are visiting for work or are looking for a budget-friendly stay.

Worst hotel, please don’t come here! Booked through booking.com which told us to pay when we arrived at the hotel however, when we arrived they told us the hotel was fully booked and we should have paid before arrival even though that wasn’t possible!
