Hotel Meraden Grand

I stayed for 3 nights in March 26 and I thought it was a great place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful and the bar is a good place to have a beer after a tiring day exploring Varanasi. The concierge will help you get a reasonably priced rickshaw to the river and the ghats. It’s walking distance to the railway station. I’ll stay at the Meraden again if I ever get back to Varanasi.

We stayed at this hotel one night with breakfast and dinner. The hotel is in a good location which also allows you to take a walk alone in the adjacent shops and markets. It's a hotel that was probably very nice 20 years ago but is now too old. Especially bathroom in the room with shower and curtain to review (they do not even provide towels). The dinner instead really great!! We could order a la carte and everything was great!
