Tatvam Residency

This was hands down the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The rooms had a strong, unbearable smell, making it immediately clear that hygiene is not a priority here. The place felt dirty and poorly maintained, and just being inside the room was uncomfortable. No amount of ventilation could fix it. The pool shown on the website is completely misleading. In reality, right at the entrance, the so-called pool had black, dirty water and was placed in a very awkward, exposed spot right in front of the office. We booked a room for three people, and instead of providing a proper bed, they simply put a mattress on the floor. Extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. Half the building is still under construction. The most alarming part is the locality. The area is extremely shady, isolated, and unsafe, especially for girls and women. Right outside the hotel, there were groups of drunk men loitering, drinking, playing cards on the road, and some were even passed out on the ground. The surroundings felt threatening and gave a very strong sense of insecurity. This is absolutely not a safe environment for female guests or anyone traveling with family. We were so disturbed by the situation that we cancelled the booking immediately after seeing the property, even though we had booked for multiple days. Despite this, the hotel had already taken two days’ advance payment and completely refused to refund it, which is highly unethical. The hotel is misrepresented online, poorly maintained, located in an unsafe area, and run without basic concern for guest safety or comfort. Save your money and your peace of mind—do not stay here.

Makes every effort to ensure the guest a perfect stay! The gentleman in the reception with very understandable English! This even gave me the opportunity to back up my photos from my phone to a stick! The rooms (beds, toilet, shower) in very good condition and hygienically flawless! Also the staff extremely helpful! Breakfast also very appealing for Western guests is made to order (1/2 h before) taken to the room! Tee, Toast, Obst, Omelett, etc.! Quiet location, a bit away from the street noise! My rating 4.5 out of 5 points!

We recently organized a family event at Tatvam Residency. The organizing and execution of the event was flawless. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Sonu and her manager provided some great recommendations while planning the event. Overall it was a great experience and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the event and relished the delicious food.
