D'Sawah Villas

I really enjoyed my stay at D’sawah Villa overall. The location is very convenient—close to the beach and easy to get around—which made my stay comfortable and relaxing. The villa itself is lovely, though there is definitely room for improvement when it comes to cleanliness, as it could be maintained better. Most of the staff were kind and welcoming, which I truly appreciated. However, I did have an unfortunate experience with one staff member, Made (also known as Toby). He was initially very talkative and overly persistent about offering to take me to an ATM. I eventually agreed, but the experience became uncomfortable when I realized I was charged significantly more than expected. We also stopped at a store where he asked for additional money for petrol without clearly explaining the cost beforehand. When I questioned this, the explanation kept changing, which was disappointing. After that interaction, he avoided me for the rest of my stay. Aside from this incident, my experience at the villa was generally positive. With better cleaning standards and clearer, more transparent boundaries from staff, this place could be even better.

We wanted to go surfing somewhere quiet and relaxing, away from the chaos of Canguu. This was peefect for us. The villa is 100 meters from the beach, the area was quaint and had an authentic vibe rather than touristy. The room was clean and tidy, there is a terrace on top where we had breakfast overlooking the rice fields and the ocean. The staff were exceptional;friendly and accommodating. Nyoman, the villa manager gave us a lot of good tips and drove us to the harbour at the end of our stay personally. When we rented the scooter to go site seeing the staff would always ask us where we would go to make sure they knew where we were incase of emergencies. Everything is a 15 to 20 mins bike ride away (temples, canguu etc), and after visiting the crowded places it felt good to drive back to our serene little spot away from it all. The breakfast was delicious and plentyful, served in our room or on the terrace above. We liked our stay so much we extended for 2 more days. The pool is long, deep and clean. Last but not least, there are two delightful dogs in the villa who were super friendly and playful, made our stay even more delightful. Everything made us feel like we were truly at home away from home.

I have chosen Villa d'Sawah for a long stay. The location is great, a two minutes walk from the ocean. The place looks friendly and relaxed and there is a nice pool. Manager and staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite convenient and the service is great. Restaurant menu is limited, but excellent taste. Staff assists in booking tours and transport. Enjoying my stay a lot! I am sure I will be back here, next time in Bali!
