Very beautiful hotel, located in a magnificent setting. Very well-decorated rooms. Only downside, the proximity to the road

This is not a place for luxury, but a must visit if you want the quietness of the Balinese ricefields and jungle and a look outside the typical tourist-places. A hidden little paradise, a nice garden with pool (be prepared to do some stairs ;-) ), friendly staff and host. The restaurant is very good and not expensive. Let them organize your trips and give you advice, these are very local and honest people, we did a bike tour and these are all small roads with almost no traffic and not 1 other tourist. The rooms are a bit older and with not much natural light, but with a nice terrace. But you need to be outside at this place, it's the prettiest.

Excellent place to stay for a few nights. Heavenly break after crazy busy traffic jammed Ubud. Really beautiful location, views to mountains and down to the south coast. Very comfortable beds (very high priority for me), new linen, rooms really clean. The one we stayed in (Cempaka?) Was stunning, huhe room, 2 double beds, a transformed old "joglo" from Java. Gorgeous solid polished wood (teak?), rich chocolate colour. Shiney polished floors. The hosts and staff were great. Extremely friendly and very helpful. Lots.of info and advice about things to do. You can take up one of the many activities on offer to explore the local area - trekking local mountain trails, bike rides (they have fancy bikes and a truck and guides for rides), or just hang out and enjoy Kebun surrounds, table tennis, board games, a book and a snooze in the quiet by the pool. Heavenly. Highly recommended
